Webinar: How to Bring a Sustainability Idea to Life in the O.R.

Every day, perioperative nurses make critical decisions that impact not only patient outcomes but also the environment around them. As sustainability becomes an essential pillar of modern healthcare, the operating theatre stands out as one of the most powerful settings to drive meaningful change.

To recognize and support this leadership potential, Ansell and the European Operating Room Nurses Association (EORNA) have launched the biannual Sustainability Project Fund This initiative was designed to empower perioperative nurses in leading innovative environmental initiatives within hospital operating theatres.

The Fund invites OR teams from EORNA member countries to submit projects focused on:

  1. Reducing carbon footprint
  2. Minimizing waste
  3. Enhancing resource management

In this engaging and practical session, you’ll hear how operating theatre teams across Europe are already leading the way, from rethinking energy and material use to introducing smarter, more efficient practices without compromising patient safety. You’ll also receive clear guidance on how to develop and submit your own proposal for the Sustainability Project Fund, with expert tips to help you turn your ideas into measurable impact.

Join us to discover how you can help build a safer, sustainable healthcare system.
